A direct transfer to an extension’s voicemail sends the caller to the destination mailbox without any interaction with the person who owns the voicemail box.

You can transfer a call to an extension’s voicemail by following these instructions:

  1. Press the xfer softkey (Cisco) or the TRAN button (Yealink).
  2. Press [*][*].
  3. Dial the extension number.
  4. Hang up.
