There are a few usage limitations for Ooma Business Texting:

Message Length

There is a 2,048-character limit for outgoing text messages (approximately 12 regular-length text messages).

Inbox Limit

You can send and receive as many messages as you would like, but your inbox cannot have more than 5,000 messages in it.

Short Codes

Ooma Business Texting is not compatible with short code phone numbers.

Toll-Free Numbers

At this time, you cannot send and receive messages with Ooma Office toll-free numbers.

Picture and Video Messaging

Ooma Business Texting is compatible with text only. You cannot currently use this service to send and receive pictures and videos via text message.

Group Texting

Users on the iOS and Android platforms can send group messages to up to nine recipients.
