Choosing which local area code an extension uses for 7-digit dialing

The account administrator can choose which area code will be set as the user’s local area code for 7-digita dialing. A user’s area code can be updated by following these instructions:

1. Log into office.ooma.com as an administrator and navigate to the Settings tab.
2. Locate the user whose caller-ID settings will be updated and click the corresponding line.
3. Under the Numbers tab, choose the area code that will be used for 7-digit dialing.
4. Click Save.
